The Marco Piva Studio for The Secret Colors of Milan
“Unveiled colors” could be the subtitle of the Marco Piva Studio project for the Manzoni Gallery, which hosted The Secret Colors of Milan, supported by Marie Claire Maison during the Milan Furniture Fair, in the context of Milan Design Week 2018. The Passage of Via Manzoni, in the heart of the historical center, has been populated with furnishing elements, luminous solutions, fabrics and coverings, jewels and art objects. Visitors and citizens benefited from this visual and material installation that was developed in eight rooms and the respective windows, facing the axis of the Manzoni Gallery, protagonists of a journey that allowed us to experience an intense sensorial experience linked to the theme of color with unpublished still-life.
The Secret Colors of Milan wanted to represent the uniqueness of the Milanese offer in terms of liveliness, lifestyle, refinement and historical and cultural paths. In this perspective was born the project of Studio Marco Piva of which the monthly published by Hearst and directed by Cinzia Felicetti has been a fully involved commissioner, and who has seen as prominent colors in the spaces Red, Pearl, Bronze, Green, Silver, Translucent , Pure White, Gold, Black materialized in the still-life of the windows of the Manzoni Gallery.
